Tap fees are non-refundable.

Bills not paid by the 15th of each month are considered late and will be assessed a 15% late fee on the following business day.

Accounts not paid in full by 5:00 PM on the 20th of each month are subject to disconnection.

A reconnect fee will be charged beginning the morning of the 21st, regardless of whether service has been physically disconnected.

A service fee may be charged if a field technician is dispatched to a property and the issue is determined not to be the responsibility of Alligator Rural Water & Sewer Co., Inc.

Customers renting a property are required to pay a refundable $100 rental deposit before service can be connected in their name. The deposit will be applied to the final bill at the time service is disconnected.

Customers are considered renters if they do not own the property or land where the existing service tap is located.

Returned checks are subject to a $30 returned check fee. The total amount due, including all applicable fees, must be paid within 10 days to avoid service disconnection. A notification letter will be mailed as a courtesy.
