                                ALLIGATOR RURAL WATER & SEWER COMPANY ANNUAL MEETING CANCELLED

The Board of Directors of Alligator Rural Water and Sewer Company, after careful consideration, has voted to cancel it’s 2022 Annual Meeting scheduled for June 26, 2022.  With both the recent uptick of COVID-19 within the Alligator service area, as well as current infected Alligator staff, the board feels that in the interest of public health, a cancellation is necessary.

In accordance with section 202 (d) of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1622 (d), President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. continued the national emergency declared in Proclamation 9994 concerning the Covid-19 pandemic This continuing proclamation was signed on February 18, 2022.  Links to both President Trump’s original declaration and President Biden’s continuation in its’ entirety are included for your information and convenience.
